Mark two hole positions on the manhole wall at 330 mm center-to-center spacing. Ensure the line between marks is level.
Drill two 25 mm diameter holes to a depth of 70 mm using a rotary hammer drill. Clear all dust and debris from the holes.
Insert both legs of the manhole step into the drilled holes simultaneously.
Drive the step fully into the holes using a sledgehammer, striking the ends of the mounting legs evenly. Do not strike the center tread area to avoid coating damage.
Verify that the step protrudes 150 mm from the wall surface and sits level using a spirit level.
