Elite-MR650
The Elite Anti-Corrosion Insulated FRP Manhole Cover for Electrical & Utility Installations is developed for underground infrastructure where access covers are exposed to damp surroundings, variable weather and contact with potentially aggressive soil or runoff. Unlike conventional iron-based covers, FRP does not rely on a metallic structure that can rust, offering an alternative for utility installations seeking to reduce corrosion-related deterioration.
The glass-fiber-reinforced composite structure also provides electrical insulation characteristics associated with FRP materials. This makes the cover relevant to projects where a non-metallic access component is preferred around electrical services. Actual insulation performance depends on the material formulation, product construction and applicable test requirements.
Designed for use across electrical and utility networks, the cover can be specified according to the installation environment, chamber dimensions and required loading conditions. Surface finish, cover geometry and identification details can be adapted to suit different infrastructure projects.

In underground installations, cover deterioration can be influenced by persistent moisture, soil chemistry, surface contamination and environmental exposure. FRP provides an alternative to ferrous materials because its composite structure does not undergo iron-based rusting.
For installations involving aggressive chemicals, saline environments or unusual soil conditions, the resin system and reinforcement formulation should be selected according to the expected exposure. UV resistance, fire performance and long-term weathering should also be specified separately when relevant to the project.
Elite can customize the cover dimensions, thickness, surface profile, locking arrangement, frame interface and identification markings according to project drawings.
Before specification, purchasers should confirm the required load class, support conditions, electrical insulation criteria and environmental exposure. Any claimed insulation rating or standardized load performance should be supported by the relevant test documentation.
