Elite's 300x300mm SMC Square Manhole Cover is designed for underground utility access, municipal infrastructure, electrical systems, telecommunications, drainage facilities and other outdoor engineering applications. Manufactured from glass-fiber-reinforced Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), it combines corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, relatively low weight and molded structural performance in a non-metallic access cover.
This model is available in B125 and C250 load classes, allowing contractors, distributors and project procurement teams to select the appropriate configuration according to the installation zone and project specification.
SMC is a non-metallic composite material with good electrical insulation properties. Compared with conventional metallic access covers, it can be advantageous in electrical utility chambers, cable networks, substations and other installations where reducing electrical conductivity is an important design consideration.
